Conner Snow is a self-taught singer/songwriter from Maui, Hawaiʻi who currently resides in Los Angeles, California. At the age of 15, Snow taught himself to play the ukulele by watching YouTube videos of ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro. He quickly became proficient at Shimabukuro’s fast fingerpicking style on the ukulele before teaching himself to play the guitar and piano. Soon after, he discovered his love for singing and began honing his vocal ability with formal lessons. His musical inspirations include the likes of John Mayer, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake and John Legend, all of whom have inspired his sound and whose styles are often reflected in his original music. 

 

After graduating high school, Snow attended college first in California, then on Oahu at UH Mānoa. Throughout his collegiate career, Snow struggled to find a path in academics that spoke to him the way music did. It wasn’t until he attended a music program in Los Angeles that he began to consider a career in music. Finally, in 2014, Snow decided to set school aside in order to explore his love of music and pursue his passion full-time, so he moved to California and made his way to Los Angeles to immerse himself in the music industry.

 

After years of honing his writing and performing abilities, Snow decided to return home in order to record his very first full length project. So, under the guidance of producer and fellow Maui-boy Calvin Canha, Snow recorded nine original songs at Sea Major Seven studio in Honolulu and released his debut album  "If I Knew Then What I Know Now," in October of 2018. His record is a chronicle of Snowʻs musical journey, combining the various genres that have influenced his sound over the past decade, including pop, r&b, funk soul, and reggae. He continues to expand and explore his creativity, sharing messages of empowerment and love that he hopes will inspire future generations.
